The Indonesian Health Supplement Entrepreneurs Association (APSKI) once again held its annual CEO Forum as a strategic agenda that brings together leaders of health supplement companies from across Indonesia. This exclusive forum serves as a platform for dialogue among CEOs and directors to discuss industry dynamics, collaboration opportunities, and the challenges facing the national health supplement sector. The event took place at Hotel Pullman, Jakarta, on January 28, 2026.

APSKI Chairman Decky Yao, in an interview with the media, stated that APSKI, which has been established for 27 years, currently represents approximately 90 member companies, including manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and supporting industries such as packaging. All members are directly involved in Indonesia’s health supplement supply chain.
“The CEO Forum, which is regularly held every January, is not oriented toward short-term commercial targets, but rather focused on strengthening the industry community and aligning long-term vision. In this year’s forum, APSKI observed that the industry had previously recorded an average growth of around 8 percent, despite facing global economic and geopolitical pressures. Nevertheless, public demand for health products continues to show a positive trend,” he stated.
“Under any economic condition, health remains a primary need for the Indonesian people. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, awareness of disease prevention has increased significantly. Preventive measures are considered more effective and affordable compared to curative treatment,” an association representative emphasized during the forum discussion.
Health supplements, particularly those that support immune system function, remain a preferred choice for consumers seeking preventive health solutions.
On the occasion, APSKI Chairman Decky Yao also stressed the importance of educating the public on selecting safe and legally registered supplement products. He urged consumers to exercise greater caution before consuming health products.
“Ensure that the product has official distribution authorization, and always check the packaging and expiration date. Illegal and unregistered products pose serious health risks,” Decky emphasized.
The APSKI CEO Forum 2026 also featured Sandiaga Uno, who delivered remarks and guidance to health supplement industry players. In his message, Sandiaga expressed optimism about the industry’s prospects amid global challenges.
“I see optimism in 2026 despite the challenging economic and geopolitical situation. The health supplement industry has significant growth potential as people are increasingly aware of the importance of preventive health,” Sandiaga said. He also encouraged entrepreneurs to seize opportunities, expand their businesses, create employment, and contribute to the national economy.
“Whatever happens, health remains the top priority,” he added.
Through this CEO Forum, APSKI aims to strengthen collaboration among industry players while enhancing public literacy regarding the importance of consuming safe, legally registered, and high-quality health supplements. The association remains optimistic that Indonesia’s health supplement industry will continue to grow in a healthy, responsible, and sustainable manner.
